Frédéric Cosperec, 43, is from central Brittany, a place of raw and intact contrasts and values. He currently resides in Concarneau, a fishing port in southern Brittany, a place of escape and light lulled by the white foam of the waves and the breath of the wind. The complementarity is obvious, the Black and the White meet in him with sometimes gray shades which are undoubtedly the reflection of the mixture of emotional charges which he perceives. After an important research work for more than 15 years, this self-taught artist has been exhibiting for 3 years now. From April to May 2015, he presented his new thematic on blown ink for the first time at l'Espace Mandara de Pont l'Abbé. Espace Mandara is first and foremost the meeting of an artist and a superb place that presents all the facets of Asian art but also ethnic influence in general. Both a place of Art and History, Frédéric Cosperec's work in Chinese ink found a natural place. He rubbed shoulders with the famous artist of Brazilian origin Nikko Kali. In May 2015, he participated with the Casa D’Amor gallery in Saint Paul de Vence at the house and object fair in Miami. A world temple of contemporary art and design, he presented his new sculpture projects around the theme of the minotaur. One of these sculptures was also exhibited at Espace Mandara.
